Miracle of Faith Ministries
In 1985, God called Pastor Ronald Whitehead to be a Pastor. He really did not know what to do. So, he prayed and prayed. Later, he went to a little church in, Robersonville, NC, and there he met Evangelist Seabrook. After serviced, she prophesied to him and told him that the Lord said to step out in faith. He told her that he did not have a place to start having services. She told him not to worry, but to step out in faith. He and his wife rode around looking for a place. During that time, he met Bishop James Barnes of Brotherhood of Deliverance Church in Wilson, NC. He told Bishop Barnes his situation, and the Bishop issued him his Pastor's license in November of 1985.
Our Story
Meanwhile they started having service in his brother's house in his living room. There were about 6 adults and 15 children. They had services there for about a year. He and his wife were riding around and found a building. They did not know who the owner was, but God blessed and the Pastor's cousin joined their church. She knew the owner and talked to him for them. The owner rented the building to them for a year. Later, Evangelist Seabrook called and told Pastor Whitehead that they needed to go to the church and pray. They went on a Sunday morning and prayed, from 5:00 am until 6:00 am. She prophesied that they would need a certain amount of money. The Lord blessed them that the owner said that he would sell the building for exact amount that was prophesied to the Evangelist.
From 1986 until now, God has increased the church family. Some have come and some have left. In 1998, they started a second church in Lanham, Maryland called, The Anointed Touch Holy Church. The church was pastored for a time by Pastor Florence Huzzey. In 1999, God gave Pastor Whitehead a vision for another church. In the same year, they found the parcel of land where the church would stand. In the midst of their planning, the enemy started messing, but telling Pastor Whitehead that it won't happen. But he did not let that make him doubt nor stop doing what God told him to do. So, in May of 2008, God blessed them to move into their new church, Miracle of Faith, where the church is currently located.
